Debora Dendler is an American sculptor who’s work is stretched from bronze and terracotta sculptures to ink and chalk drawings. She says about her work: ‘The human condition is the main subject of my work. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and find the human form the most perfect and eloquent expression of the human spirit. A sculpture’s gesture, movement, curves, contours, texture, shape, volumes, forms and structure all work together to reveal the interior space of the spirit.’ (from Deborah’s website). She sent us a portrait of King Lear.
